Blogging isn't bad. At all. In fact, I really do enjoy blogging. It's informal, I can speak my mind, and it's simple. But if you give me the choice of snowboarding or playing soccer instead of blogging, of course I'm going to pick blogging. My point is, blogging is still writing.
To be honest, the most surprising thing about blogging is the amount of ease it can be completed in. I can just log in to Blogger, check out my classmate's blogs for good ideas, and get to it. Typically, I can be done with two posts in less than an hour. And I like to think that my posts are quite good. Considering I'm an average freshman-in-college writer
As far as my attitude towards the web; the amount of respect that I have for bloggers, journalists, and other authors has increased by a lot. Not that I never respected them in the first place. I have become aware of how difficult it is to produce a good piece of writing that inspires thought in some people. I have barely any comments on my blog and I am a fairly decent writer.
